Capital punishment for homosexuality
The End of Gay (and the Death of Heterosexuality) | Quill and Quire
Capital punishment for homosexuality was implemented by a number of countries worldwide. It currently remains a legal punishment in several countries and regions, all of which have sharia -based criminal laws. Being prescribed by the law does not necessarily mean that the penalty is carried out in practice. Gay people also face extrajudicial killings by state and non-state actors, as in Chechnya in Imposition of the death penalty for homosexuality may be classified as judicial murder of gay people, which can be analyzed as a form of genocide.
The End of Gay (and the Death of Heterosexuality)
This book has an interesting viewpoint, to say the least, but it felt as if the author could care less about love and just wants to get pleasure any way he can. To him it's like love doesn't matter, the only thing that matters is desire. I also thought that he categorized everyone by his own pansexuality he could care less about the gender of the person he likes.
Can I point out that Gender is not basically just the social differences between men and women. This is how the modern West defines it. Gender is much more basic and biological. It is the innate sense of being a male or female irrespective of one's outer sex organs. Gender is the inner-sex of a person.
